! We are trying to help rescued D.I.N. “Lady” who is currently being fostered by a vet tech, Tana, who works at our local vet Butterfield Animal Hospital in Temecula. Lady, a gorgeous but tragically neglected 5-year-old long haired dachshund was taken in to the vet to be put down due to seizures and paralysis in her hind quarters (read the forwarded e-mail below). Tana spared Lady’s life, literally, by stepping up to foster her in her own home. Lady’s seizures are getting under control now and she has feeling in her toes & legs; however, she requires more rehab to make a complete recovery. Our goal is to get Lady into California Animal Rehabilitation, a facility highly recommended by Dachshund Rescue Los Angeles (DRLA), while Tana is out of town for the next couple of weeks. We are asking members to donate whatever they can, large or small (small donations add up) via the TVDC donate link below. (you can specify “for Lady” in the special instructions if you like, but we have no other fundraising going on right now, so we will know it is for her.)
